I loved Anne of Green Gables, and then the follow up, Anne of Avonlea. I think my two favorite familiy movies are the old Disney film Swiss Family Robinson and The Wilderness Family. It might actually be called The Adventures of the Wilderness Family, I'm not sure. It's about a family with a son who has asthma aggravated by the smog in LA. So they decide to move to the country with their two kids, the real wilderness kind of country. It was made in 1975 and I guess my grandma had it on tape because she used to show it to my sister and I when we were very little.

I watched a similar movie I can't remember there are two different Robinson movies with different actors and I watched one and really enjoyed it too...They have Anne of Greene Gables, Anne Of Greene Gables the Sequal, and I found out recently that have Anne Of Greene Gables the Continuing Story that I'm trying to find copies to all 3 to add to my collection of movies hehe.

I would have to say favorite family movies of mine would mostly have to be Disney movies like The Lion King and 101 Dalmations! A major favorite of mine that they seem to air more around the holidays is Home Alone it's hilarious, especially when he gets ready for the bad guys and sets traps all over the house!

My fav family movie is " Little Miss Sunshine". It's a cute story and it's something that a family can watch together. Its a good family movie because it reflects the situation of all the family members and it's worth a watch by all the members of the family. bourne

i was never the fan of family films....but one film just make me one and after that i begin to see many of family movies and like many of them...but the one which will be always in my heart will be IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE....this epitomizes the true meaning of Christmas. Hope, nderstanding, forgiveness, friendship and sharing, all of the attributes we strive to achieve the whole year through, though somehow manage to elude most of us.... The message in this film is one of courage and sacrifice for the greater good as George Bailey, a man with big ideas about seeing the world, continually forsakes his own desires to do what is right for the town.the other message is that every life is important....the director frank capra has worked in every bit of film and he deserves appraisal..The acting is just great all across the board, the set design incredible and is heart warming without getting too sentimental. The actors are absolutely committed to the truth and motivation of their characters. They don't judge their roles, they don't act at them, they strip down, then dive completely into them and make them live and feel and suffer...
