whats your highest education degree? Are you successful after graduating?
For me, I beleived it before that graduating from college is the best way to success but when I graduated and apply for a job, most interviews are asking my work expertise and work experience. I'm a fresh graduate before and haven't any work experience yet. That is, there is no reason for me to be hired because of those matters. And that, I proved to myself education is only a tool to success. Patient and hardwork is the best.

i've been teaching first year high school students for 6 years now and i always encounter such questions from my students.
more than a tool, i always tell my students that education provides you with the opportunities and choices as well. to be able to finish a certain degree with good grades to match can always propel you to get better offers compared to those who doesnt have one. it puts you into a position to choose what is best for you, and be able to weigh your options better. patience and hardwork are values that makes you as a person. they are the fruits of your education together with all the other values that you got from schooling such as respect, commitment, etc.
i understand that there are some companies out there preferring applicants with work experience. but there are some which doesnt require such, and they prefer those who just finished their degree since they view fresh graduates as still "trainable". just explore some more, you'll get one for sure.
be confident. you are a degree holder and im pretty sure you'll end up in the profession that you wish. good luck!

Education does play a very important part of one's life. But I would contradict the fact that education alone makes you successful and the best. As what you've mention, Patient and hardwork is important too. Education serves as our ground in learning knowledge and expertise by which we can use it for our own future's goodness. To think that they're some people who are obviously successful even though they don't graduate any degree in college, greatest example would be BILL GATES. It's not about discouraging people about education on the factor by which it isn't that important. It's a great advantage to have education and as what you've said, a useful tool to success.

I have a BS degree and 2 MS Degrees. To me Education is very important and I would not be where I am today without it. I have retired with a comfortable pension. I have been in a position to hire people and there is no teacher like experience, but how do you get experience? You did not say what your degree was in or what you want to do in life. The first thing is to get a job, any job to start with. You might want to consider doing some free work for a non profit group. I know people who have helped out doing the books or running the office and have used that as experience. I had a friend who wanted to get into sales and could not get a job so she took a part time in a bar. In an interview the man asked her about her bar job and how that was related to sales. Her reply shocked him. She told him that the bartender sold the bar to customers. people would come in for a drink and it was up to the bartender to convince them that they should return. it got her a second interview.
During the interview you have to sell yourself and relate any experience to the job you are applying for. Good Luck

Education is very important. No one can ever get it from us. It's our weapon to compete in this world. Being a fresh graduate then was very hard. Finding a job after you graduated is another phase that you need to battle. What I did, after I graduated, I took short courses that could uplift my resume among my competitors. On the Job training experience from college was also a big help.

Of course, education is very important that's also the reason why you understand things
around you. If you didnt go to school do you think you will get a good job? I know everything can be learn
but having good education will also help you not being fooled by anyone when it comes to business,
politics and etc. Come to think of it, who do you think will be choose if the uneducated person versus
college graduate with high scholastic records by employer of course the latter one right?
you know how to enhance your skills, use you you ability accompanied with mental ability.

there is an exemption to that, specially here in our country. I strongly agree the importance of education in our lives. It serves as a ground for us to be able to know the world and so many factors affecting on it. But to some point, education here means a TOOL to success. it doesn't mean that if you have a college diploma you will have successful living ofcourse not. It must be fixed with determination and self decipline. As i said above, patient and hard work is the best.
