I as actually interested in knowing peoples opinions about the wii system. I actually have to say its one of the best investments I have made besides necessitys and recently I found out the wii is a necessity for me because of my health. I think it does good for keeping you in shape, for your cardio, and for your respiratory system and I have to say I do enjoy both the wii and wii fit I think its great that nintendo came out with something to make the games they did but yet its all healthy. Thats my opinion I was wondering yours? What do you think of it? Does it help you?

I never tried wii fit. But we do have the guitar hero bundle for wii. I'm a huge fan of the drums!! Im nasty on them! Woo.
We do have the wii sports games and those are awesome. My arms were in so much pain after I did the boxing game.

I don't have one, but my sister and brother-in-law do. My sister loves hers! With diet changes and doing the Wii fit exercise, she has lost 51 pounds in four months. The Wii fit is the only exercise she does, and I have seen her do it. It really gets the heart going, which is the most important factor in exercising to lose weight. Her husband is now doing it because of the change he has seen in her.

I just think its great that a company made a game system also into a health system, I know its expensive but in my opinion its well worth it. For me especially in the winter time when I dont get out much I have to have the exercise for my health its this fun way to keep healthy.

Hi AmbiePam, I think I need your sister to come visit me and be my motivator LOL... I just wish I could talk myself into doing it. I have SOOOOOO much stuff I wanna do but not nearly enough time, so things like the Wii Fit (and any OTHER form of exercise aside from softball since I PAY for that LOL) get put off to the bottom of my to do list...

I LOVE the Steps on the Wii Fit... only I'm way too lazy to do it LOL... I think I'm way too lazy to do anything... maybe if I had a portable computer so I could MyLot and email while doing it. But then if that was the case, I'd just walk LOL... at one point I was doing the Free Steps while watching One Tree Hill on the TV but now I'm doing more computer than tv... oh, and reading... been doing LOTS of that... walking and reading is NOT an easy task for me.
BUT, that said WHEN I do it, I LOVE it... SOOOOOOOO much fun... only, I don't like the Wii Sport's boxing! YUCK!

I love to read while I am walking. But sometimes, I forget to like ummm "look both ways" before I am crossing a road I don't quite realize is there. I bet you only don't like the boxing because it is the one that makes you sweat the most. I don't like it, because it won't let me "double punch" Lol. Cheers.

My opinion is very much the same as yours. I love My Wii, loved it long before Wii Fit came out. Great cardio from the boxing on Wii sports, Zelda rocked, over did it a few times, couple of muscle strains, but learned how to control that fast. Most games are kid based, but they are really fun none the less Cheers and Happy Gaming.

know what my favorite part of the Wii was? I haven't graduated from video games aside from Mario Bros 3... and I now HAVE SMB 3! Thanks to downloading it onto my Wii! I can now play video games! I can't do the new games... the graphics and the turns... I get lost LOL...

I here's ya there, one of the very first games I downloaded was Zelda. Great classic game, and Blades of Steel. You can learn the new games, it just takes time. It took me quite a while. Cheers.

I have to agree that zelda is alot of fun, I had to buy that game and I also have quite a few other games also and I also have learned how to control the muscle strains even though it was hard at first because I was having so much fun with the wii games..
