Who is your favorite PET ever?

I am sure all of you have a favorite pet, which you can never forget. Mine is a chicken - Veeran. When I was in 5th standard my mom put some eggs for hatchng. I was so curious waiting each and everyday for chickens. Atlast they are born....10 cute chickens, 4 were male and 6 were female. My sister and I named all the chickens. Veeran was our favorite. We watched each and every stage of growth of Veeran till he became a handsome cock. We loved him a lot. The tragedy is one day I returned to home, he was on the dining table as chicken curry. Our mom didn't give us a clue about what she was going to do because she knew that I wouldn't not have agreed to that. Who is your favorite pet? What makes you remember him still?

My favorite pet was my turtle ben I had when I was about 10 years old. It was a goufer turtle my dad found in the road one day. It would have gotten ran over if he wouldn't have stopped. It lived in our back yard and dug a hole under the ground where it slept. We would put lettuce out for it everyday. Then one day it dug out the yard. Really sad.

What do you mean by turtle ben? Tortoise? White or Black? We have two types of tortoises in south Inida. When you turn it upside down, one type has a blck color and another one has a white color.

a gopher turtle. there like a brown color. i live in north america.

my favorite pet is my dog, he is with me for more than ten years, he's white and brown in colour, he's a shih tze, did you eat the curry chicken?

No, I didn't eat, my sister also didn't eat. Both of us were crying for the whole day.

Aw, what a rotten story! Especially as initially I read the chicken's name as Vegan (not got my lenses in yet, not a bad joke) I love all my pets. Maybe not the stick insects I had as a kid, or Hammy the homicidal hamster. I guess the one I refer to most is the first dog I ever owned, as a kid, so he'd have to be the one I loved the most. I didn't have that easy a childhood, and he used to comfort me in his own, quiet way. He was a big golden labrador. RIP Rebel (sob)
