Where is your mum?

I do think that a mother is always an important role in the life of the individual, whether she is present or not in your life. I thank God for having a wonderful mum who sacrificed herself for the family. She could have been richer or prettier but I could not have found any one with a more golden heart than my mum is. I have invited mum for lunch. We'll dine in a restaurant so hopefully she will have a day off from cooking. It is a small gesture to say thanks for what she did in my life and she is still doing. Thanks Mum (even though you are not able to read this)....
Where is your mum. Is she close to you and are you having some quality time together on Sunday? Or are you miles apart cos you have fallen over some reason or another...? (Its never to late to phone her and say hi mum I love you)
Happy mothers day to all those who have enjoyed the experience of motherhood, to those women who did not due to other life experiences....
And happy mothers day to my internet mum... She knows who she is....

My mom lives about a thousand miles away. She moved to Florida decades ago because of the harsh winters here. I moved back here two years ago to be close to my dad and to live in the state where I was born and raised. I love it! I wish mom and my sister would move back here. My mother is the best! I don't know how I would have managed at times if not for her. She's always there for me and if I ever need her she'll be here on the next plane. I would do the same for her.
It won't be a great day for me, though, since my kids are in Arizona in college. I miss them. But at least I can call my mother.
I hope you have a wonderful day with your mother!

I hope your kids call you as well. I may just call my brother, that is about all I can do. Oh, I can call my kids.

My mum (or mom actually to me) is quite different from me. We bu** (content was graphic for some reason) heads quite often but I wouldn't want anyone else to be my mom. She helped me through some difficult times in my life. I live with her at the moment, which is not always easy. She did not have a good relationship with her mom and I think that has made her want to be different and better for me.

Well, she could if she had a computer..I have forwarded things from my inbox to my mom that I have gotten from mylot. Where is my mom? Well, right now she is home asleep. But She will be here at my house in the afternoon since she is coming over and I will be trying to fix her printer so she will be able to use it. She will also be getting a lunch I will be fixing and I hope she will enjoy. Wild Alaskan Salmon on a bed of wild rice with fresh steamed vegetables and a salad. With dessert being Black Cherry Ice Cream and a chocolate cake.

i haven't seen my mom for almost 12 years now. It's sad though that our family is not complete. But i am now well-adjusted. Where ever she may be, I hope that she is happy with her life. I miss her sometimes. :(
But, anyway, I was brought up by my grandmother, she became my mother figure. i confide girly stuff to her. She can be very strict but I know that she just cares a lot and wants the best for me. So, Happy mothers day to my grandma. and also to my mother. whereever she is. :)

My mom is on the living room watching television together with my sister. Yeah, we're close but we do have our share of arguments. That can't be avoided i guess. We do spend a lot of quality time together especially when it's lunch or dinner time. I really don't have something for my mom today for mother's day but i hope she understands that i'm just too shy. She knows that i love her because i put it into actions. I will be the one to take care of her when she grows old.

My mother passed away when I was a little girl. So my sisters are somewhat mothers to me, and also I do have a stepmother who I have grown more fond of now that i am older, but when I was younger she wasn't much of a mother to me. My boyfriends mom is also someone who I hold very dear in my heart. she has been there for me over the last 8 years and I really appreciate her. so today is a hard day for me with mothers day. i will bring a card to my boyfriends mom, but I will also go and lay flowers on the headstone of my mother. so enjoy your days everyone and happy mothers day.

Hi Ronaldinu, I sure hope that your Mum and you have a grand day together. Cherish every moment you have with her and never take her for granted. It sounds to me that the two of you love each other very much.
My Mom and I were very close, I am the baby of 6 and she new I was her last one so I think she raised me to be her best friend and I was. She is in heaven now for 3 years but she is always in my heart and in my thoughts. I will honor her on Sunday as I would if she were here.
I am having my Mother in Law over as well as one of my sister in laws and her boys. I am not a Mom but I am an aunt and even a grandaunt so I try to spoil the Moms when I can. I am having a picnic style BBQ with chicken, potato salad, coleslaw and corn on the cob. For dessert I am making my Mom in laws favorite, banana cake with cream cheese frosting.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Mother's Day!

What a loving and thoughtfully worded post!
I will be spending this mother's day with my 3 sons (aged 8, 8, and almost 10). We'll have a nice dinner together, and in general, just have a relaxing day around the house.
My mother is about 1 1/2 hours away, and I'm not sure what her plans are for Sunday. I snail mailed her a card over a week ago, so I'm sure she's gotten it in time.

My daughter often says it, especially when she phones just to see how I am, and my son often says it when he says goodnight. (He still lives with me) Even though they are adults they know it means a lot to me.
My Mum is no longer here physically, she passed away 10yrs ago. However she's as near to me as ever. When I lived away from her I could phone her and did every week so now ... If I have a problem, I ask her what to do and I hear her in my mind. I know what her answer would have been in similar situations when she was alive and her advice helped me then, and it still helps now.
I know she knew I loved her but I regret not telling her so as often as I should so to all out there with a Mum, TELL HER!

This is the right time to show your love to your mom. I think we owe her lots of thing, not to mentioned those sacrifices they made. Taking care of us when we are sick, cooking nice dishes to make us fat...lol. What can I say? I love you mom.
She is staying with us but you know leh...How can I tell her that I love her in front of her. Very shy one ah...Hey Ronaldinu, you made the right discussion. Thumbs up. Happy Mylotting and Happy Mothers day to all Mylot's members.

Hi,ronaldinu
Well,I am miles away from Mum,and I missed her so much especially on Mother's Day.I am now studying in a different city and cannot return home often because the two cities are really far away from each other. However, though she is not close to me,I can still feel if she is here beside me!
Have a nice day!

Unfortunately I will not be seeing my mom on Mothers Day. She is too far away from me and I don't have money to fly or to take a bus or train to go visit her.
I will just be calling her up to say happy Mothers Day and that's it.
My 2 kids will be spending mothers day over at my ex mother in laws house. She asked if she could take them out for a couple of hours that day.
She rarely sees them so I said it was ok. I will be alone on Mothers Day but I see my kids every day and I am happy they will be seeing their grandmother.
My daughter made a card and something else at school so I will be getting something lol.

I'm extremely lucky because my mum lives just 5minutes walk away from my house. She is an absolute star!! I know that, like many of her generation, she has often gone without to ensure that her children were fed and she has always worked hard (despite her parents being told that she would never reach the age of 16!). Even now, she is always asking if I need any washing doing whilst I'm at work, she drove me around for the weekend after I had surgery, comes to ours for Sunday lunch but quite often brings some part of the meal with her. We went to the park this afternoon and will be spending Mothers Day together this weekend.

Hello my friend ronaldinu Ji,
I understand your feelings. There is no such relation like 'Mother'. This can never be
replaced with any other relations. Our both parents are heavely abode. But we always remeber
our mothers at times even today. May God bless You and have a great time.[em]thumbup
