True and genuine friendship is rare in our jetset age where we find materialism reigning supreme. There is a rat race to outto and surpass other in an attempt to reap worldly benefits and get personal gains irrespective of the feelings of others. There is sharp decline of moral and ethical values in this scientic age. Sincere friends are hard to be found in this time. I may sound pessimistic or cynic to you but I can't help it. I love to be proved wrong.

I think it's possible but it would be hard. I've seen some people on tv losing friends because they lost money. That is sad but that's one way to find out friends true intention. The key is honesty all along in friendships. I don't want to be lied to either. I want true friends no matter how poor i get or they get.
