Grrrrr... these MyLot rules are driving me nuts!

I know these rules do prevent a great deal of spam and other trashy content, but for those of us who don't do that it is quite irritating.
-You must post 500 times before you can copy and paste.
I like to type stuff out in Notepad or Word sometimes so I can save it in case my internet browser crashes. I have lost several posts due to this.
-You must post 200 times before you can use emoticons.
Sigh...
-You cannot insert links in your post.
I wish that you could insert at least 1 link. Sometimes you need to show people a webpage to make your point. I don't really like this rule....
Any other rules here that are bugging you?

Yes, you are right? but we can't do anything in this regard. Each site will have diferent concept and this is one of them...so what ever it is we must follow that rules..can't help it.

The one that bugs me is the copy and paste
because sometimes I find really good info to share and out of habit I'll copy and then try to paste, forgetting I can't do that yet
. I am certainly not going to write it all out, it would take me all day to that. I'll just have to bide my time and keep posting to get to my 500
.

Oh i guess we can insert links in our posts my friend.......you cannot post referral links that help you make some money.....that is definitely not allowed here and most of the other forums you would come across.........
Well i too feel that i miss the copy paste feature.....and i also at the same time understand that it can be used majorly for spam by some people........but as you just mentioned.....it happened to me a dozen of times that i type long posts and then the mylot server goes down and does not accept my entry.....and hence i have to refresh my browser which means i have to type my earlier posts all over again.....it is really painful and irritating to do that.......
There are many people who are facing this problem.....i just hope mylot updates it server soon......
