Should i talk to him again?

I'm a Chinese girl. He is an American.
I met him by chance. He seems to be a part-time waiter as well as a student abroad in China. I really feel he has a unique charm which attracts me so much. I can't help myself talking to him.
Then I came up with a stupid question: Are you Chinese? He answered:??!(means No).
We both laughed,then walk away.
I have been always thinking these days, should I talk to him again and make friend with him. But i really know little about a foreigner. The way they think, the manners they have, what if i offend him unconsiously.

come on, talk to him, theres nothing wrong of making freinds, just tell him what you know about them or thier culture, ask him if its true or not. ask him something that u wanna know about them, let him feel that you are interested.
