How did your husband propose to you???

My husband proposed to me in our bedroom when we lived at his Mums house. We had hit it off the first day we met and started going out on May 14th 2006. Then in the August, at who knows what time in the morning, he started writing a message in his phone. After a few minutes and with me worrying that something was wrong, he passed me the phone. He had writen like a 3 part message ending with 'will you marry me?'. Then on December 21st 2006, we got married! Oh and to celebrate how engagement, we had a bacon sarnie and a glass of Sprite :)

My husband and I had actually gone to the mall to pick out my engagement ring. He wanted to make sure I liked it, but told me that we would propose whenever. So he bought the ring, and we walked to the center of the mall where there was a fountain going, and they had Christmas garland in animals shapes. We sat down, and then a piano started to play, he then said that he loved me, and asked me if I would marry him. It was so beautiful. Your story sounds sweet too.

My husband proposed to me in the basement of his parents house. It was Christmas Eve and we were just hanging out downstairs waiting for his parents to come and open presents. He left the room and came running back in, got down on his knee and asked me to marry him. I thought he was joking so I said, " No " As in No Way. Well then he showed me the ring! Then I knew it was true and I said yes.

I dont think I can ever forget the way my husband proposed either. We were living together at the time. I was working until 8pm. I had called him when I knew he would be home to see if he wanted me to make dinner that night. He told me no, he had already eaten. Before I hung up, he made me promise to call when I was on my way home. He said he had a surprise for me, but it was time sensitive so he needed to know exactly when I would be home. I was so confused, I had no idea what the surprise could be - it wasnt food because he had already eaten. What else could be time sensitive? I am not good at waiting and I was going crazy with not knowing. I called him a little while later to see if I could get any hints out of him. He wouldnt tell me anything else. When I walked in the back door, I didnt even say 'hi', I just asked what my surprise was! He made me give him a kiss. Then he took me upstairs. He made me close my eyes and led me into the bedroom. It felt like forever until he told me I could open my eyes. When I did, the bed was freshly made and covered in rose petals. One of my teddy bears was holding a dozen beautiful red roses. He tapped my side. I turned around and he was down on his knee and holding a ring. He swears he asked if I would marry him. I didnt even hear it until he said 'so what is the answer?' I had just immediately thrown my arms around my neck. It was perfect for us.
