Internet is faster in the night than in the daytime or busy hours

Hi Its already 3 years old discussion... But as it is my interest related I would like to reply. Even I feel the same that internet gives better speed at night in compare of day time. Its because of traffic. I mean in day time as number of users increased the network congested more. And because of that we can get slow speed. While at night these number decrease and we get good speed because of less congestion.

It is depend upon your internet connection if it is cable Internet via lan then you are right at your sentence. But It wont happen with Broadband connection. It also happen with Internet sites many users using site in daytime & less users using it in night time so get more speed

I work night mainly right now. It is alot faster at nighttime than it is during the day. I think there are less people on at night.

Hello ajithlal. It works faster in the morning, but slower in the afternoon and then once again it works fast in the evening. In general, the speed is ok on my side. Now my laptop is heavily loaded with a lot of stuff which drags the net speed, I guess. I need to clean out some unwanted files some day to make it faster. Good day.

Mine is reverse, it is faster during day time and a bit slower in night time. Strange isn't it but when I would let you know that I use a plan in which I get unlimited download at night time. Hence it might be possible that they delibritely slow the speed in night time! LOL

if u r having dedicated connection there is no problem yet all u get same speed at any time. if u use lan type of network u may have some down speed in busy hours

Mine is slowest in peak times, i.e. between 6 p.m. and midnight. This is when working people come home and log onto the internet. I tend to get further in the early hours of the morning. Brightest Blessings.

Actually I can't tell the difference for the internet speed between daytime and night. It seems it's very stable. Otherwise I will complain about the ISP. I love China

ehm for me in 1 AM untill 9 AM is the best way for me to browsing.i dont like if browse at the night.the network is so crowded.there is too many people use it at night in here.so usually a go to sleep early then i wake up early too so i can surfing so faster.lol.it hard if you were here

I think it should be around the same speed at anytime, because other people around the world are on the computer and their times are different. My computer's internet speed is always slow, because it is constantly used by my mom....

i think you right. in my country as well. but someday my internet fast at daytime too. i still confused about that.

hi ajihthlal,your problem like me. i have the best connection in the night(time:00,00-9,00 morning),and i have bad connection in the day times.
