New to myLot!

I'd respond to plenty of discussions before you think of starting one. Rather than trawl through loads of posts, log on several times a day and look at the most recent discussions. Make sure you've filled in some of the interests, but don't spend too long on it, as you can always add more as you take part in discussions. Resist 'forum speak' and think of your responses as mini articles. That way, you'll earn respect from the community as well as earning a little money. Above all, enjoy yourself!

hi britt!!! welcome to the world of mylot and now that you are a mylotter, start posting interesting discussions that we can share our opinions with.. well, don't put links into your posts. if you asking for referrals, you can end your discussion by saying, "if you are interested to join the site, post your interest and ill send you the link.." since posting links here is a big no no, your discussions could also get deleted..

Hi Brittany, welcome to mylot! You'll find that this is a very interesting site with a lot of topics to discuss so my suggestion is, if you don't have anything in mind to start a discussion about, read some of the other discussions and respond to them. You earn for responding, too, but make sure your response is about four or five lines long. You can more or less start a discussion about anything that pops into your head but, if you want to get a lot of responses, there should be a question in there somewhere. If you find it difficult to start a discussion, then you can post to one that was started by omeone else. That is what I normally do. It is easier for that way. I have only started two and they didn't get but one response each, so I am just going to post responses to discussions already posted. One thing, you shouldn't do, is post links in here s that is agains mylots rules, as those discussions get deleted and you don't get credit for it. I thought I would tell you that now, so as to avoid that in the future. If you don't see anything that you would like to post to, then just do a search as their are lots of discussions that don't get talked about that much. I have done that myself, since sometimes, I see the same discussions and it gets boring after awhile lol. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

Hello britt11041988 and welcome to mylot. Sorry that this reaches you late. Is it okay if I called you Brittany? I am so sorry to hear that you are finding it difficult to get started on mylot. Basically I would say to you is participate, find discussion and topics that you are interested in to taalk about. I feel like if it is something that you like or if it is something that you have experienced you are more inclined to share your thoughts on the subject. Remember the longer the post is or the more time and effort you put into this site the more earnings you will be able to accumulate. So people are wondering why they really aren't seeing any earnings at all it is mainly because they are not putting enough effort into there responses to the discussions. Well hopefully by now you are making so kind of an earning here and if it is okay with you I would just l;ove for us to be friends? Hey, I find it easier to respond than make discussions because nobody responds to my discussion. So you make a set number of responses each day and start off with or or two discussions. Also make a lot of friends so that they get notified when you make a discussion and respond to it. Please make note that do not respond in discussions with referral links as they tend to get deleted. Also do not post your referral link in the discussion as people wont respond to it. Welcome and have a great time having fun here. bourne

Welcome to Mylot Britanny, am sure you're gonna enjoy it here to the last. it's always difficult at first, but you will get the hang of it. never response and treat a discussion like a forum because in here, you get to say something, within the full context of your ideas. am kinda sleepy now, Remember one Important Rule, Read the mylot Faq, or Rules.

Welcome britt!! You're going to LOVE Mylot. This place is great :-) My best suggestions are first to read everything under the Mylot tab. It basically explains everything you need to know. Another suggestion I have is to focus on quality over quanity. Mylot pays you by the quality of your post - so the longer it is, the more thought out, the more helpful, etc. If you only type out a few sentences, you're not going to get paid as much. And my final suggestion is to do a search before posting. So often the same topics are being posted time and time again when they've already been answered 100s of times before. Hi, welcome to mylot.I have been here for about two week and I think it is a great site. I wonder why you find it kind of difficult to start. You just post new discussions that you are interested or reponse to otherones' topics with your real thought and opinion. From here, you can earn some pocket money as well as improve your English. Enjoy yourself at mylot.

You can try to start very good discussions that "capture" the audience, and post a lot.

For me lol is not annoying... Actually im newER than you but i think its fine... Anyway, maybe you could start by reading discussions...

Welcome to myLot, and hope you will enjoy your time here. For many of us, this site has become more than just about the money. It is about having the opportunity to meet many wonderful people and to also be able to talk about almost anything you are interested in talking about as well. The object of this site is to Start New discussions such as the one you have started as well as respond back in discussions others have started here as well. It is also important when doing this, is use quality over quantity and you will go far as well. What I mean by Quality is when responding back to a discussion post back with at least 4-6 lines of words pertaining to the discussion at hand helping them to be encouraged with what you have to say there as well.
