It has rained non-stop for 4 days now. Today it is thunderstorms! We are expected 3-4 inches tonight! There is a lot of flooding going on around here. I know in the middle of July we're going to be begging for some rain but come on! LOL We are going to have to re sow our vegetable garden because the seeds have just drowned from all this rain!
Are you getting much rain where you are?

I live in Mississippi and it has rained and stormed almost non-stop since April. Even when it's NOT raining, it's been more cloudy and gloomy days. These have far outnumbered sunny days. And I'm sick of it. We got a full week of nothing but sun and all that about two weeks ago and since then it's been nothing but storms and dark cloudy days. It's supposed to storm tonight even. And it figures...I just checked on the Weather Channel's website. Guess what? Yep, almost nothing but rain all week next week once again!
As you might can tell, yes we are getting a lot of rain where I live and I am very sick of it lol. Right now, according to the WC website, there's a river flood warning in effect with a possibility of severe storms on the way tonight.
You know, I used to love rainy weather so much. Now I'm so sick of it that it's not funny. it seems that as time goes on the more I like sunny weather.

It is supposed to be the rainy season on the Island but it is so dry. The climatic changes in the weather has made us not knowing when to get rain or mot. We even had a hurricane out of the hurricane season last year. The weather is crazy. I'm sorry that you lost your vegetable garden as that is so important. I am growng so much these days as the price of food on the Island has increased by 25%. Can you believe it? Is food expensive where you live?

Hey fasttalker! We have also been getting mad crazy rain for
at least two weeks straight now too! Today was the first day
I think that we haven't had rain for a change and we were
supposed to! It rained heavily again last night, thunder storms
again! It has been pretty much nonstop here too! It was like
every day for at least two weeks that NY had rain in the
forecast and most of the days were thunderstorms and they
were some big ones! So I know what you're talking about! But,
I guess we need to have them so we'd better not complain!

Hi fasttalker! It seems like it has been raining here for a hundred years..lol..It has rained steadily here now for an entire seven days. There are flood warnings and gardens getting washed out in the farming areas as well. It is actually starting to effect my mood..lol..I think that by tomorrow it is supposed to move out. I know that by July I will be happy to dance in the rain but right now I would just like a break..Take care.

I think it is supposed to move out tomorrow but going in reverse for Monday! LOL How wonderful to hear "chance of scattered showers" instead of "flood warning" LOL
Thanks for the response

I feel your pain, we were getting rain almost every day for 3 weeks, and I was trying to have a garage sale, needless to say I didn't do as well as I could have with the garage sale. The rain finally stopped yesterday and now we have a horrible heat index and even have heat advisory warnings. So this summer has not been great, it has either been raining or too hot to enjoy.

I am in Buckinghamshire, England and we are expecting loads of rain the next two days! I love rain but we are going camping tomorrow for a week so it's going to make putting up the tent a small nightmare! We have had quite a lot of hot (well hot for England) weather here recently and a few thunder storms so it will be nice for some rain.
