I've probably dwelled on that question as much as anyone else. And I have my own views, which I don't usually let other people in on. For the purpose of this post I will share. Imagine that you are an omniscent being. You are all. You are everything. And you are 'alone'. What would you do? If it were possible for you to exist in more than one place at one time, and interact with yourself as if you were a separate being, and have a wondrous thing called free will, and experience a life filled with newness, would you do it? I see God, Allah, whatever name he goes by, as a being, just as I see the body. The body has with it billions of different cells that interact with one another, are affected by one another, and are essentially a part of one another, but do not feel as the others feel. If I stub my toe, my finger doesn't feel it. If I break my finger, my knee doesn't feel it. But it is all one body directed by one brain. So for me, the body of the Alighty, is something that we are all connected to. Kind of like the way our brains our connected to the rest of us. The brain feels all. God is the 'brain' of life. And he lives through us. This is why when you smite your neighbor, you are smiting God. And when you insult another, you are insulting God. Just my views though...and they tend to change from time to time. Peace and love.
