Which Dog Worth it to be kept as a pet?

We have a Pug, AJ, and he is the best too! He isn't scared of other dogs, though, and is pretty brave. I get smiles on my face all of the time for the exact same reasons you stated. He's precious and has been with us for 3 years now! That said, I will never own a Pug again because they shed so much! I know all animals shed, but I could have never been prepared for how much AJ would shed. I have two Himalayan/Persian cats (at one point I had 5) and they were less messy than the Pug. It is an insane amount and it seems like all of the brushing in the world doesn't even calm it down in the least bit. This time of year is the absolute worst for it.

They say that dogs are man's best friend. But a dog from a pet shop? I think that wont work... I read this quote saying, "a friend you have to buy wont be worth you pay for"(i didnt remember the exact words but the sense is there). I suggest that you ask a friend of you in advance to, you know, "reserve" you a puppy before his or her dog lays them... Haha... And also ask for a pair! Haha..

i believe whatever pet you hae, as long as you enjoy and love them,they are very much worth it to be kept as a pet. :) it is fun though to have specific type of dog breeds around. i like pugs and do think they are really nice dogs out there and are really very protective and loving of their owners.

hi i have a mixed breed german shepherd-though he has all structure and built of a german shepherd-his face is quite mild and gentle and not fierce like most of german shepherd-but when he sees any other dog he becomes as fierce as any german shepherd.i think he was the cutest pup i have ever seen and even now he is as cute as ever. besides he is very much attached to me.when i join ship he misses me so much that he wont eat food for couple of days-and he shows most of human emotions.

All dogs are equally cute and worth keeping ^_^ For all animal lovers, all pets are the same.. There's no animals which are not worthy to be kept.. hehe ^_^ Though some dogs are adorable while some are quite ugly looking, but beauty lies in the eyes of beholder ^_^ hehe BIg dogs may be frightening but they can be quite cute at times, especially when they have spent enough time together, or maybe have enough bonding time ^_^

it will really depend on the potential pet owner's personality.personally,I prefer big dogs.breeds like german shepherd,collie,st.bernard,beagle,old english sheepdog,giant schnauzer,chow chow,belgian malinois,great dane.I feel safe and secure with big dogs.I find it nicely ironic that big dogs have a sweet,gentle nature.
