For me I was 15 back then, and I was in High School before Graduation my Mom had a disease in other Country and after my Graduation My Mom Died here in the philippines, so I started working, but still I go to school. At first, Its hard, but eventually I got used to it. Oh, I don't have a father in the very beginning and I don't want to know him either. So I've been in my own when I was in 15. How about you guys when did you become Independent?

I'm 24 now. Still at home, online everyday. Hopefully next year I'll be independent.

I become independent when my dad had cancer, I was like 19 then. He had chemotherapy in the states and lots of medicine are needed. I became a working student then. I pay my tuition fee and also with my younger sister. Though I wasnt able to finish college, it paid off since I have alot of experience and acquired skills already. I'm managing my own internet cafe right now and a boarding house.

Oh my, sorry to hear that. But to answer your question, I became independent when I was 13. I learned to stand up by myself at a very young age.. I didn't lose my parents or something. I don't know the main reason.. but that's how it is. I can still remember myself traveling and commuting to Caloocan and SM Mall of Asia on my own.
