I just found out the other day that deltiologist is a person who collects postcards. I guess that makes me a deltiologist then! So myLotters, do you like to collect things or not? Why? And what is it that you collect? Feel free to comment!

That's interesting. When I was a kid I like to collect posters and stickers of famous bands but now it is nowhere to be found. I guess I lost it when I moved out.

i like watches and jackets. i have over 20 watches some works and some dont. i have my gold watch that costed me over $200 bucks. i wear for specail things.
but i have so many jackets i could wear one for each day without wearing the same one twice in two weeks.

That's interesting! You must have more then 15 jackets.:) If all are branded jackets then it must've cost you a lot. But I guess when you consider yourself as a collector, price wouldn't matter. Good quality makes the price reasonable.

You're right. I guess sometimes we collect things impulsively. We didn't know the reason why it started. We just like it that's all, simple as that. Collecting postcards makes me happy too. :)

I use to collect many things,especially cooking books and recipe books, and any kind of books, i have also collect bags, whether native or imported, dress, jeans, shoes, if i visited some places i always have a remembrance from there.

Well when I was in high school I used to collect anime stuff, I really like anime back then even now, like posters and cards, almost anything from videos to movies and music. But eventually I gave those away hehehe, its not like I dont like anime now, its just that we moved from place to place back then and it is a bit hassle for me to carry all those stuff, so I chose to gave some away, but I always leave the ones that are had a very sentimental value. hehe

That's what happen to me too when I collecting posters and stickers of famous bands. But I manage put one poster in a frame and it's in my brother's room till now.

I like to collect movies, used to be VCD and then I got addicted to dvd, for now I just watch movies at internet much cheaper,

I love movies and watching it over dvd. But I can't make it on the internet. The connections are unstable. Lucky for you though!
