Some responces are so rude and even to the point of attacking the other person

Why is there a need to get ugly on here with someone, you asked for an honest opinion and one was given. It was in no way given in a manner to upset you or cause you harm, but you feel the need to respond by attacking the person because you do not agree with what was said. I think there are some Myloters who need to grow up and treat others how they would like to be treated.

Amen to that one!!!! I have never understood this since I started on here. It can be just as frustrating when you are trying to put your two cents in (which to me is the point of mylot - to share feelings and opinions on subjects) and someone comes attacking you for what you have said. Seriously, if you don't want to hear all sides of the story or don't want someone's opinion - don't post.

Exactly. If you really do not want a vast majority of opinions even something different of yours then do not ask...

Exactly.... but i feel some people just have to habit of being rude......now some may dispose this off as a debate and putting forward thier arguments..... Heloo......there is a way of doing everything.....if you think being rude can get you more comments on your response you are wrong......people like straight forwards response but should never be meant to insult someone......it is just so sad that people don't realize this and can actually make someones day really bad if they already had one.......

Thank you John, people do not realize how the things they say can hurt us, the old saying sticks and stones is far from the truth. Words hurt more than fist. The pain from the words does not go away, but the bruise you leave behind when you hit will.

I agree with you 100%. There is absolutely no reason why people should start flaming one another. If they do, it's best to report their behavior, I think. But whatever you do, DON'T flame back, you'll only get yourself in trouble as well.

I did not flame back in any way. I was not sure about reporting the behavior, is that not like running and telling mommy. I think that most of us here are adults and would hope that everyone could behave that way and settle differences without the need to run to the moderators

I believe that in this community, respect is vital. I will respect your opinion and at the same time, you respect my opinion. Even if I disagree with your opinion, I should express my opposition with due respect. Attacking the other person is a sign of disrespect. I guess there's no right or wrong opinion as long as you are able to stand by your own opinion. Our main purpose here is to be able to express ourselves, our thoughts, not to attack others.
