when you got your first job, what did you buy with your first paycheck?

I was 15 years old, not long left school and I was working for my dad as a landscape gardener. It was only a few days a week so I think my first wages was about £50 and I spent it on bacon sandwiches for me and my dad on the way to work one morning and the rest on CDs.

My 1st job was cutting lawns. I think I made $15.00 week!I saved all summer long then I had what I needed and a little extra. Went down to Radio shack and bought a portable tape player, 8 "D"cell batteries,and a couple tapes!!!! Got on my bike and took the long way home.Riding with the tape player,digging the tunes!!! All the way home.

I started working part-time at 14 years old and, as far as I remember, I used my first pay check to buy clothes. That's the reason I went to work in the first place...I was a teenage girl and I wanted cool clothes. My parents had four children to clothe so they told me that if I wanted above and beyond what they were willing to buy, I had to earn my own money to pay for it. I didn't have any bills at that time but later on, when I got my driver's license, I had to return my father's car with the same amount of gas it had when I took it. As I recall he made out better than I did on that deal since he usually ended up with more gas than he had and not less....

apart from paying bills i bought gifts for family. i remember i saved nothing from my first pay, not even for the rest of the month.

My very first job was on the Navy base. I was a baggier at the grocery store. I got paid tips only. I made about $100 a day. I think I bought a cellphone with my first tip wage. After that I bought clothes for school...that was back in 2003. I work at the casino now in the buffet. I paid bills with my first check from them.

I think i won't spend it for buying something. It happened with my first paycheck, i spent it for my daily use. Everyday i need to have my meals, so i must spend it wisely. But for the first thing i buy with my paycheck, that was woman's thing. It's vary from time to time depends on the situation. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.
