Chalo Nitka Festival Rodeo Rider - Here's a shot of some of the horses and riders who came to town for our annual Chalo Nitka Festival & Rodeo. They participated in the parade through town. This was in early March and the weather was great.
If you're interested in relocating then you can't beat south central Florida in my opinion. I live outside of a tiny little town where everyone is friendly and it's easy to make new friends. We live a couple of blocks from a beautiful river and it's warm down here all year long. There are many other small towns like mine down here and many communities where you can buy a home with some land. Some places already have a stable for a horse. So, you have the feel and peacefulness of living in the country but you're not that far from town and you're don't feel isolated.

You must live right around the block from me. I was going to say the same thing! LOL How funny is that, that you could find a neighbor out of all these people. It is agreat place to live and I love the weather. Not everyone enjoys the weather here But I wouldn't live anywhere else.

How cool! If you're familiar with Chalo Nitka than you know where I am. Are you in Hooterville, too, or nearby? I've been down here for six years and one of my daughters moved her family here after one visit because they loved it so much. This is such a great place to raise kids...very family oriented community. The only place I've ever seen that has more ball fields than stores!

Hi, Well u sound like Alice in wonderland. I always wanted to live in a small and country like area too. One of my uncle lives in Brighton in England and i often catch up with him over internet. He lives a very simple life. There is no change in his life except on sundays when he closes his shop a lil earliar then rest of the weekdays. On the other hand i live in a city where life moves in a jets speed. IN the end i find it ridiculous becoz after earning all the money u have hardly anything left inside u. And then people who dont have much to lose lives a calm & peacefull life. I would love to live in a place which is full of nature as well. Butterflies, rabbits and all small creatures, lol with lots of birds and flowers around. OMG! now iam getting imaginary as well.. lol. If that place is not in real lets get the pleasure atleast thinking about a place like that Cheers, Tutul
