What Grinds your gears(as Peter Griffin would say)? In other words, what gets you mad or annoys the heck out of you?
For me, I hate when idiot drivers act like speed demons, cut you off all just to be one car ahead. Today, I was driving in a 30 mph road that is usually full of cops when you make this certain turn... Well this speeding jerk is riding my tail, then changes lanes and rides another tail...then eventually cuts me off. So, here I am right behind him and see him turn into the Publix shopping center (same place I was going) and park. So....he was all phycho on the road, acting like he has somewhere important to be, but no he had to shop. Get this, I was walking right behind him, so really all he did was get a like what??? a 10 second lead? Bravo guy!!!
So yea, thats what really grinds my gears, idiot drivers!

What really gets to me is the conclusions people draw about others without knowing much about the person at all. I find this especially so when it comes to teenagers. I teach 12th grade English, and I've heard not just kids, but teachers and administrators saying things about my students that have little to do with reality. They base it on the kids' clothes or hasircuts or jewelry. It's really unfair, and I find it beyond annoying.

Oh yea... I can see why that has your gears grinding... People just love to go by stereo types and judge others without even knowing what they are all about. That is not fair and you have every right to be upset about that. I can see that you really have a good bond with your students and appreciate them for who they are and not what they look like. Nice to see that =)

Yes; I love them all. Right now we're in that bittersweet time when they're about to graduate, but a lot of them keep in touch, and I love that!

I'd have to say my pet peeve of the day is excuses. I'm so tired of hearing excuses it's unreal. I can't never did a daggone thing, but I'll Try sure accomplished a lot.
I can deal with "I tried and failed," but I'm so tired of "I can't" that I could actually puke.

It is the people who think that they are the lord and master of all that they survey. Then it's the people who have massively inflated egos and look down upon other who don't have the same status as others. Rash drivers who drive aggressively on the roads. Many more things blows my fuse.

I hate when parents can't control their kids. One time, a little girl throwing foods at me three times and her mom didn't do anything about it and not even apologizing. She just called her and went away.
Another day, is it because a lack of knowledge about being a good parents or not;
a parent take their kids to see a movie they weren't suppose to see. They talk and scream during the movie and they see act scenes that totally inappropriate for their ages.

Ughhhh I know!!! I use to work at a CVS and man, some of those kids needed a good wack or something! They would yell and scream when they didn't get the candy they wanted. All the parents would do was ignore them, like the kids wasn't even there. If I had done that to my parents, I would have been sorry real quick!

I know this is strange, but what really pissed me off is: a woman who actually has talent (for example in making cookies), but she doesn't want to get a job to help her husband in supporting the family. All she can do is getting up late and doesn't cook breakfast and other meals of the day for her husband, make love and give birth to a lot of kids, and use those kids as a "weapon" to blackmail her husband to give her more and more money all the time. And when the husband is finally go bankrupt with a lot of debts in his office, she finds a richer man and divorced her skinny unhealthy-looking husband.
GRRRRRR!!!

Oh I know what you mean! Back in highschool I would pick up a friend to take to school as well. She was just a few blocks from me...But this girl was never ready! All that lasted about a week, and I had it. Told her to find a new ride or take the bus.
