Mother's Day Shopping

I gave my mother a card with couple of scratchies in it. I hope it brings her a bit of luck. What did I get for mothers day. Nothing. My husband, kids and I went out to visit one of my husbands work mates. We had lunch. My husband drank so I drove back home. Then before he went to bed he said that lunch was for mothers day. I thought great. Take me out to visit his work mate, he drinks and I drove home. If the lunch was for me, shouldn't I be the one to drink and get driven home? Then this morning, all I got was my husband and kids saying happy mothers day. Then just not that long ago, there was a discussion about some one giving my son a memory stick for the computer. That some one was me. My son said that I didn't give him the memory stick and that his father gave it to him. I was horrified. It was like as if he was indicating that I am lying. This is not a great mothers day for me.
