This is something I have often thought about since I am a fan of cartoons. What are some common things you will see in a cartoon? My examples are the following:
Any time there is an accident involving a character and a piano, the character emerges from the wreckage, smiles, and shows that his teeth are now the piano keys.
Cats are always afraid of dogs, and usually the most feared dog is a traditional bulldog.
Anything else?

The way they always blow themselves up but are still alive. And when some cartoon character is lighting a dynamite and it didn't go off and when he checks, it blows off in his face. Or when they fall off great heights and end up making an outline of their body on the ground...OH, and some cartoon characters were shirts but no pants. Why is that?!! If they're not going to put in pants then don't make him wear anything! LOL. But I LOVE cartoons.

Well, look at the examples with Tom and Jerry. It seems no matter what Jerry tries to do to Tom, no one gets hurt and Tom is still able to always chase after Tom.
