Have you ever been to a sand dunes....

Its been a while for me and my family but we are looking into a few family getaways this summer and just a couple hours away is a sand dunes that you can rent a jeep and drive on....they have bbq's and lots of things to do in the area as well... It is just one of the places I have been looking into and we might plan to go to this summer... how about you?? have you been to a sand dunes?

Nope, I've never seen any sand dunes... The only interesting sand relief I've seen is some current ripples I've seen in a river's Pleistocene (Early Quaternary) sediments.

Thank you!! I will definitely keep everyone updated on which place we actually choose... money is tight so that is why I am researching small getaways in my own state... plus there is so much history here too in Michigan that I want to have my kids experience. I hope you get to Dubai!! we all need a getaway every now and then... Happy mylotting!!

Hi there, ya, they are pretty cool huh? I grew up just a few minutes away from a beach and my brothers and I used to love to play in the sand dunes.

Yes next to the beach, rolling down or sliding if youve ever seen jackass, mexican snowboarding Its very legit :)
