I've seen the movie first before I read the book. A lot of people on the web said that the book is much better so I bought it. The book is defnitely much better than the movie. Although I can understand that the movie has it's limitations. Edward in the book is domineering compared the edward in the movie. He was too nice. But I still love him! LOL. So generally speaking I like both but of course the book is better because it's much more detailed.

The book is a LOT better than the movie. I seen the movie first and wasn't impressed but I thought it had a compelling love story so I sought out the book and was instantly hooked. In the movie they changed and added so many details that I don't think it did the story any justice at all. I think they could have stuck closer to the book even with having to make the necessary limitations for the movie. I understand you've got to trim otherwise you'd have 2 movies instead of one lol but I think it could have been a better adaption.

I have watched the movie Twilight. I am reading its book but I haven't finished reading it yet. I think the movie is filmed very good. I like the actor and the scenery is very beautiful. Since I haven't finished the book yet, so I can't say which one is better.
I love China

Hi, bessy
I have read all the books and I have seen the movie. Well, for me, the book is better. Way way better. Stephenie Meyer is a good writer, you will have no problems imagining what is going on.
Have a nice day!

I haven't read the book. But I've watched the movie already. I think the movie has some flaws but I still advise you to watch it because of Robert Pattison! ha!ha!
I wouldn't have discovered how cute he is if I haven't watch the movie! :) So for me...it's a big loss if you'll just stick with the book!

I've read all of the Twilight Saga at least 3 times and I've also got the movie on DVD. I am a huge fan of both, and I think both have their plus and minus points. I adore the books, they allow me to use my imagination to create Bella's world inside my head. I think that they are well written and wonderfully descriptive. The books also go into more detail than the film does, allowing the reader to have more knowledge about the character's lives, their backgrounds, and you appreciate their feelings more. However I do enjoy the movie a lot. For starters it has lots of nice looking men in it! Yum! There are some nice visual effects in the film and it's interesting to watch people play out the characters in front of you. However the film does miss out parts of the book and things happen in the film which don't happen in the book which I wasn't too happy about. I think because I read the books first I am always going to prefer them, but I still like the film, partly just because of Rob Pattison!

i always love the book version for reasons thatt the book is always more detailed and more descriptive of who and what the characters are plus movies are often cut short, the plot i mean. and with the twilight movie, it is not bad, the characters look good and delicious even lol but the details are little..scenes are cut short of course..so i will still stick with the book version, anytime.

I have read all the books and seen the film.
I would recommend both :)
After seeing the film it made me want to read the books to find out what happens next. Im a big book person i read a number of books at once and i usually believe the film ruins the book but this one was a good contrast. It was a very entertaining film and well made.
