Do you agree or disagree with the legalization of marijuana?

I have heard a lot of discussions lately in regards to the legalization of the marijuana both on the local and international scene.
The state of California has made a move towards the legalization of this drug and in some cases persons can even acquire marijuana for medical purposes.

President Obama had to adress this very issue some time ago due to the popularity of this question.
What do you think? Will the decriminalization of ganja/pot/marijuana make much difference in the fight aginst drugs.
I am divided as I really dont care for the drug but the views on the legalization are pretty interesting and I find some rather sensible. The legaization of alcohol for example helped to stem the problem of substance abuse and the illegal activities it attracted. If the same is done for marijauna it may just place a hole in the drug for guns trade and various gang wars.
So are you for or against the legalization of marijuana?

i am not sure where i stand on this issue to be honest. i do not like pot personally but i know plenty of people do otherwise this would not be such an issue. if it were legalized i would not be affected as i do not use it or like it. i would really have to read up on the issue and the pros and cons of it to give an enlightened and intelligence response so for now i have to say i am not sure how i really feel about it.
