Have you ever played hooky / skipped school?

yeh I did that many times , but mostly in senior years. I usually use to skip along with a bunch of friends. We usually went down to the city and have some fun there. The good thing about this whole thing was that we had good teachers who did not call home every time we skipped. I still do it sometimes at university now, but not often as before.

I never played hooky or skipped a lesson in regular school, but I did miss classes in college.

So many times that I've lost count! I had this routine down pat where my Mother would drive me to school (Because I was always getting busted for skipping classes) and she would sit there in the car until she saw me entering the school's main building. I would then walk straight through the campus and out the other side into suburbia and go and do my own thing all day! Then I'd be there again at the main building when it was time to be picked up. I ended up being expelled from this particular school for not attending for close to 3 months. Oh well, all I can say is that I never enjoyed my education years in High School and had no interest whatsoever in anything they wished to teach me. I turned out just fine!

ya i use to do it all the time. i was never really into school and didnt want to spend my time in school. i wouldnt even go to school almost every day that we had it. the only time that i would go to school is to see a friend and make plans for things to do after school. its one of those things that now i regret doing. its not easy to get far in life with out a high school deploma. i ended up having to get my GED insted. there were time when my boyfrien would drive me to school and pick me up after school, but most of the time i would end up calling him to pick me up early down the street from the school. it was one of those things that was fun at the time but now that i look at it i really wasnt thinking smart.
