There are always friends warned me:between men and women, there is no real friendship! But I was still very naive, excepting the love between men and women, there is definitely a real friendship.I think it is true, how do you think of it?

I have plenty of friends who are men, there can be friendships between men and women. I think it mainly depends on how they see each other, if men see women as future wifes that should stay at home and have babies, then they say you can't have a friendship with them. There's a man down our pub that tried telling me to get go sit in the corner and shut up because I was talking to the landlord about repairing his laptop for him. I asked him why I should and he said that women should be seen and not heard, then turned to my boyfriend and told him he shouldn't have even brought me to the pub because I was a woman. We both had a right go at him telling him to keep his mouth shut or he'd end with a beating. The landlord even started on him as well and barred him for life. It's those sort of men that can't see how there can be a relationship between men and women.
