I don't know if increases it, but it certainly can't hurt it any! Especially if you look at the list of possible words at the end of the round. You know come to think of it, I guess it does increase it, because I've learned new words that I've been able to use on other games while playing text twist and scrabble and qwerty

Well, games that make us think hard about words would surely improve our vocabulary one way or another... but i do think that reading books, novels, magazines, newspapers is the best way to do that... since we would know the meaning and how words should be properly used...

I love playing that gam and yes I sure do agree that it does increase one's vocabulary in great ways! A lot of times, I'll get this answer with a word that I've never heard before and will have to look it up to see what it is or what it means and it's pretty interesting to learn something new through a game of fun. lol

Hi there! I have been playing text twist and yes it helped me improve my vocabulary. I've learned a lot of words that I never thought that there is such a word. I've learned some new spellings too. I like to play it with the timer. It's more challenging making my mind think faster. Playing text twist is good past time. We learn while having fun. Ciao!
