We are never contented with what we have, we always want more and more. if we have 10$ we want 100. if we have 100 we want a million. some people have millions still they want more! So i want to know what is the definite amount of money you need to be happy? Will you really be happy by that much money and will demand no more further?

For me, money is not the only thing that will give us happiness. Money is an addictive thing in this world. Its the root cause of all crimes. But I agree that with money, we can experience happiness that we wanted.

Psh. The best things in life are free so I would have to say very little. I just want enough money to live the lifestyle that I want to live, which I don't really want to be that luxurious. Too much money means you have friends turning into people wanting to bum money off of you and "new friends" that emerge just because you have money. Not a fun life.

i agree to you thoughts, best things are always free. you know why? because the god made these things and he didn't make money, he had no idea that someday man will make a thing called money and sell his precious things. money can buy a bed but not a sound sleep.

I don't think that money can buy me happiness. It is within me regardless.I need more time to be happy and yes, money can buy me free time....but it is hard to define how much I would need....

i used to think of this question before.how much money we really need to be happy?it seems no one can give the exactly number cause we always have desire in life.when we reach the first desire we made before ,then we will go for higher desire and we should try to get it .it seems never stop to please our desire.human is human ,so it is hard to get the exactly answer.i think.

My God, i need so much money to be happy...and because i can t all this money, i will choice to be happy withaut money! You can t buy happyness with money because cost to much, and never can t to have so much money. I like a simple life, comfortable as much i can offer for myself...so no need so much money.
I know so many peoples who have a lot of money, but they are not happy.
If i can choice of course i will choice to be happy, no money.
I am content with what i have, i want just to be in good health and happy.
I can make money , never money make me.

it is natural human tendency is to yearn for more and more, and even when one gets what he or she initially sets out for, they would not be satisfied.... in my case I am happy with what I have......i get almost everything, what i wish for.....all praise to the Allmighty.....

I will be happy when I will earn 1 crore Rupees. This is my current target. I may change it after attaining this goal. Their are lots of ways to be happy. But Money is the ulimate way to become happy. So doing everything to achive my goal.

haha =D Money will never be enough.. Because with money, one is able to do alot more things, and to many ple, money equals to power.. haha =D So, the more money one has, the better they feel even though they might not really be happy..
Even for those whom are happy, they are only materialistic happy, but not happy within their heart.. BUt without money, we wont be much happier too as it means that we are not able to do as much things we wanted to..
If given a choice, it's natural that ple will want more money ^_^

I do not want to pile up money and worry about its safety later. As long as as my wishes and needs are fulfilled without any hassles i am satisfied with that much amount of money.
I am quite contended with what i am earning and saving.I just pray to God to give me power and state of mind to continue doing hard work and labor with right approach.

I need $3M not for myself but to have the women I really love. I am contented of what I have right now but I think I need this much to get the women that makes me live that makes me happy and with this amount for sure I can get her and its only her that can truly make me happy. She didnt asked that amount from me but I guess her mom would somehow agree for us to be together if I have this amount.

How much money do you really need to be happy?
This is a great question, to be honest I don't really think that we need a whole lot of money to be truly happy. Especially if we are fortunate enough to be with the one we love. If we are with the one we love then we can be happy sitting around sipping on a coke together. Sometimes just having a nice cold soda can make me feel happy. Now i"m not trying to say that all it takes is a coke but I'm just saying that I can truly appreciate it, that's all. In other words, it don't really take much to make me happy. Also if a person is happy with their self everything else is just an additional bonus! Happy Mylotting.

we can never be happy just because of money. money could give us comfortable lives but will never bring real happines in life. sometimes it is much better if you just have enough to sustain your needs.it is harder to appreciate things when you have plenty of it or if you can easily get the things you want.

When I decided to shift from nursing to mass communication, that was the time that I realized that money can never buy happiness. For me, there is no exact amount of money that I need to make me happy because money cannot give me genuine happiness. I am aware that if I chose nursing, there will be more opportunities of earning more money than in journalism. But then, my heart's desire is more powerful than money and I knew within me that I will never be happy if I continue nursing.

As long as I can pay my bills and have a little left over to help out friends and kids once in awhile I'm happy. I've been dirt poor, and I've been rich. Somewhere in between the two, I've found is the best place to be. Keeps me motivated and keeps me humble.

They say that money cannot buy happiness but I don't think that this is true! Money certainly can improve your life so to have a lot of it in your life should be quite important. I don't have much money myself and I would just love to have more! Am I happy? I wouldn't say so, perhaps content to some extent. I think that there are people who are constantly focused on achievement and this is no bad thing. If you work hard towards something then I believe you deserve the fruit of your labours. Andrew

well if you are seeking money as a source of happiness then you can never be happy, but if you are asking a question then for me the search for money will never get over , im a money freak person ,who always runs behind money no matter what happens in my life. but when im one few persons who are good in nature comes online to chat to me then i don't care about money because i really care for them.i basically run for money when im angry or when im very sad or when im not doing anything.because it keeps me busy.

I would love to have enough money to live comfortable. When you have not received only maybe 3 raises in 19 years on your job then I think something is wrong with that company. My husband and I were just talking about that tonight. His company has only given him 3 raises in 19 years. They don't believe in raises so no one in the company ever gets raises. I am a stay at home mom so I try to find some ways to make money online which you just don't make enough. I told my husband tonight I guess I need to go out and find a job but since I haven't worked in 25 years I am sure no one will hire me. Of course my gd got real upset because she said what if my mom doesn't get to my school in time to pick me up who will pick me up. She knows if her mom doesn't get off work on time to pick her up from school I will pick her up. We told her not to worry I will be available at the moment anyway.

For me, I just need to be able to have a secure and enjoyable life in which I can enjoy some luxuries in life like being able to travel, shop, and dine at nice restaurants once in a while. What is more important is that I have my own house, car, and insurances. I think with around 20 million pesos along with the house etc., I would already be more than happy and will need no more.
