Diligence is the mother of good luck

Hard work never goes in vain. Actually, our luck is directly proportional to our hard work. The more we work hard, the more our luck favours us. Hard work pays in the long run. Allah says in the Holy Quran " Man gets what he strives for". Therefore, it is very important for to work harder than ever to reach our goal. What is you opinion in this regard?

I agree with you that diligence is mother of luck. People can be of different competence, but at least we can take initiative to be diligent. By time, the experience accumulated will help us to develop our capability, and upgrade our position in the community. Diligence is not an expression of weakness but a value to preserve and promote, especially for young people, who need to accumulate experience while seeking for accomplishment of high goals.

Life has been good to me because I believe of my diligence and hard work, so I guess I agree with you. I worked so hard to achieve my goal, and I'm happy I'm reaping now what I planted. But I became diligent and hardworking only when I had a family and started to have big responsibilities. I used to play and have fun a lot, until the time that I matured and committed to being more responsible.
