While sleeping, most of us turn around and sometimes roll.Did you ever rolled in a manner, you fell down from bed to floor and woke up sighing?Or are you cautious to avoid this and what are the precautions you do for it?

I use to do it all the time. And the bruises I ended up were pretty. Infact, when I was in preschool many years ago I actually broke my collar bone because I rolled out of bed in my sleep. Throughout grade school I had to sleep with pillows on the side of my bed so if I did fall out of bed the landing would be soft. Eventually I just put the mattress on the floor so there were only 6 inches between me and the floor. I did grow out of it and I haven't rolled out of bed in years. I still think beds can be dangerous, I can still feel the calcified area around where I broke my bone almost 20 years ago.

Instead of taking hardships to have a smooth landing, why should not you have avoided cot and sleep on the bed on the floor? What made you hit the floor that much violent so that you broke your collar bone?LOL!Cheers!

It is really quite funny. I was dreaming and my poodle woke up and decided to sleep on the pillow because I was moving so much. And his hair touched my face and I freaked out in my sleep and literally threw myself off the bed with so much force that I landed two feet away with my standing stereo in my neck. I was 3 at the time and I still remember that night because it was one of the most painful bone breaks I have experienced so far. LOL Not fun, not fun at all. on top of that it was around 3 am on Halloween. I had to be a pumpkin because I couldn't get my costume on.

I can understand. At the age of three, human bones are tender and are prone to break in simple accidents.Your poodle had scared you much.Do you still sleep making arrangements for a smooth landing?LOL!Cheers!

(Un)fortunately not. I share my bed with my father and my brother. I am the one who sleeps in betweeen, thus never had a chance of rolling down to floor from bed. I have done it in day time to give my family members a little bit of laugh though.

Will you wake up falling down or still continue your sleep? Will you frown at them for laughing at you or enjoy the joke yourself?

Just having your bed on floor is caution. And having pillows on your side to avoid rolling down is precaution. This is up to my knowledge.I am looking for any new ideas.Cheers!

yes, i had experience once, rolling down the bed on the floor while i was sleeping, because my bed in our boarding house before was too small. now that i had children, we just lie on a thick matress on the floor without high bed in order for it to avoid falling down while sleeping.
