I have two miniature poodles called Secret and Magic. I let them sit next to me on my sofa. I own my home that is fine. I have been traveling with them and there have been notices about keeping dogs off the furniture.
I am thinking about moving. If I manage to sell my house before I move into my new home I don't think a rental property would welcome dogs. I would need quite a large garden for them and make it secure. They would need so lovely areas to walk nearby.
Where does your dog sleep?
In which rooms of your home do you let your dog room?

My dogs sleep in my room with me and my other half. They are so spoiled that it's not funny they have the couches when we are not on them and they have the the floor and frost seems to think that when I'm sitting on the puter chair that he can sit on me or behing me on the chair. It's a trip. LOL!!!

hi
we have 4 dogs all together.actually we had just brought 1-a german shepherd whom we named as milo-he was the cutest pup i have ever seen-we tried our best to make him sleep alone in a different room-but he wud just not yield-so i had to take him to sleep along my side.now he is grown up and luckily sleeps not on the bed but just below our bed,on the floor.we then brought him a female companion and before she cud b sterilized-she gave birth to two cute pups-one male and other female, though they have grown up,they still want to sleep with us-so we let 2 dogs to sleep in our bedroom, while 2 of them sleep in my mother's bedroom-of course, the exclusive rights for sleeping in or bedroom is still with Milo.

My black lab sleeps under the duvet! Shock horror I hear people say! Well tough, say I! haha
She starts off on top and positioned in the middle between my wife and I. Then at some stage I feel this nose nudge my back as she tries to lift the cover. I lift it for her and she burrows down to my feet and starts to lick my legs and the soles of my feet. It really tickles!

Every 11 days, and sometime ever more i'm going back home. My dog is always sleeps in my bed, and when i'm home he just jump and enter the bed and sleeps with me. Before I joined the army, I used to beg him to sleep with but he keep sleeping on the floor. Now even that I have a small bed that fits to one person he still sleeps with me. I guess that the bed reminds him me, and sleeping with me when i'm home make us better friends. I just love him!

I currently live in an apartment with two English Springer Spaniels. This is a nice community that allows dogs here, but it is getting too expensive for me, so I am moving, also. There really are not many rental places that allow dogs, I know. I cannot afford to buy a house, either. So I am buying a mobile home where my dogs will be welcome, and I will have a small yard for them, which is more than I have for them now. Best of all, nobody can tell me what to do because it's just like owning a house. I live alone, so my dogs are my only company. I refuse to give them up. So we are moving someplace that suits all three of us. It will be a lot less expensive for me.

Yup, most rental property don't allow dogs, their afraid that the house would be in disaster if any pets live in the house. We have 2 adult dogs and a puppy, the dogs are inside in our house. They slept in the living room, luckily they don't chew on furniture. The puppy slept outside of the house in his kennel, we don't have space in the house for another dog though sometimes we let him sleep and stay inside the house.

I wont deny the fact of the world, that dogs can be proved to be the best companion for any human being in this world. As they don't need much from you, and still they gives out their best to you. They keep you healthy, reduces your loneliness, and other benefits. The person having dogs, have to take them out for walk and sh*ts daily, so in this way, dogs help us to remain healthy. hehehe!I have a small cute Pomade with me. She is really very cute, with white, silky hair on her body. Its really a fun to be with her, she plays with me too. At night she sleeps in my bedroom room only, just beneath my bed. As soon as I am asleep at night, she comes beside my pillow to sleep there. I often scold her for that with strong heart, even if I don't mind her sleeping beside my pillow, but still I want her to maintain the manner.

Hi its good to hear that you have kept two dogs with you. sometimes i do wonder how people take care of the animal when they always seek attention of their owner.but from your words it looks like you are good owner who thinks so much for them...but i think dogs should always sleep in the drawing room and move around in the garden .i would not take them to bed room...

Uh, I'm guilty of letting my little one sleep up on the bed. She's not allowed up near my face. She cuddles up at my feet and I love to know she's there. She knows when my husband comes upstairs, she jumps down and finds another spot in the room. But when its just me, she makes herself comfortable.

Actually, I don't have a dog myself. But my cousin did. She has a dog, a german shepherd, and it is big. My uncle won't allow the dog come into the house, because it always running around to let foot prints on the carpet. It got to sleep on the doghouse, or if it is too cold, it allowed sleep on the patio.

Hi maxine,
Lola sleeps out. She chose to sleep outside a glass door in my room. There´s a terrace to the garden there and I call it the earthquake door because that´s the exit door for earthquakes.
I don´t let Lola in: she would tear the house apart. As you know she is a strong german shepherd. Every day she grows a bit more and gains strenght.
As for your problem, there must be some rental houses which accept dogs if they are well trained and you take the responsability for their actions.
A big hug on mother´s day. A kiss to Leo.

i've got no dogs at home, i'm afraid that my kids will get bitten to it. since then, i never liked dogs, dogs that are crossed breed are very much expensive here, i think of having one someday but it's expensive and the food are expensive too.
