What language do you wish you speak?

Imagine that you've been given a chance to choose your own lingo. What would it be? Would you speak the romantic French? Or maybe the fast and inrticate Mandarin? Would you rather speak the simple and expressive Filipino or the cute and modest Nihongo (Japanese)instead? Take your pick or add your own. It wouldn't hurt. Who knows, maybe someday, or as early as today, you can!

I've always been fascinated by Japanese. I'm a gamer, and I remember I played a demo for Megaman X7, and it was the first time I ever heard Japanese. Eventually I started taking Japanese courses. However, I don't have access to those courses anymore. It's sad, because Japanese is such a wonderful language, but not enough people want to learn it.

oh..well, I do like to learn Japanese too...
hontoni, hontoni, tomadachi! I learned to like Japanese
through animes...and some of the words I knew came from it too. I do not
have any formal lessons, though.

I wish to be able to speak a lot of languages some of which are French, Spanish, Mandarin, German, and Gaelic. I'm doing it one language at a time. I used to study French with a French teacher, but I found it too fast for me. My tongue was literally in a knot. lol!
I've found a great website that can teach you any language you want it's http://www.livemocha.com I'm currently studying Spanish since most of my relatives on my mother's side are all of Spanish descent and therefore talks in Spanish.
If you join, maybe you can look me up :) my username there is foxgloves88.
Although you must also keep in mind that in order for you to learn the language you wish to speak, you have to try to speak the language everyday. It's better if you find a friend online who is fluent in the language you're learning and talk with them (through skype probably) for at least 15 to 30 mins. you can talk about anything under the sun. You can also get an e-pal from a certain country to help you out.

Japanese and German!
I'm impress with Japanese since my favorite music band is Japanese. And I really like to watch Japanese animation and reading comics. So I thought it would be great if someday I could understand more about what the song said and wish that someday I could live in Japan.
For German, I think it's perfect country to go for study science and technology. In my opinion. I thought they are so good at that.
Another language is Elven language from The Lord Of The Rings, Sindarin and Quenya.
But because it's JRR Tokien who made this language up by himself. It's really hard to find the place to study. Some said that this two is even harder than English, but still I want to. It's very interesting for me.

For awhile, I really wanted to learn Japanese. My high school offered it, but only for two years so I only had time to get some conversational stuff down and two of the written languages. It's a fun language though.
What I really, really want to learn now is Gaelic! My great grandparents were from Galway, Ireland. The way the language is written is so neat, and it's a pretty language to hear too (especially in the incredibly sexy Irish brogue, haha).
