We are taking a great family vacation soon to Disneyworld which means we will be flying. I have never flown before and am a nervous wreck!! One of my children is also very scared of the flight. I know I have to suck it up and just go but I can't believe the fear I feel over it. The closer the trip gets, the excitement is building, however the fear of death is also looming. The positive is that we will all be together so if the plane goes down, the family all goes down together. Such thoughts to have before the vacation of a lifetime. I don't know, am I overthinking this whole thing? Am I just a huge pesamist? How do I put on a brave face for my children? Maybe they can tranquilize me before leaving and just throw me in the luggage compartment and wheel me out when we arrive at Disneyworld?

So, did you take your trip already? Or not just yet? It's been 3 months after you open the discussion.
I hope this time you already cope with your fear of flying.:)
It's not as scary as you thought, though. Hope you have a pleasant flying experience for the first time and I hope you enjoy your disneyworld vacation.
