One of the toes on my left leg seems to have a mind on its own and just will not stop wriggling. I've had to tie it up with to the next toe to keep it still. It feels really wierd i tell you.
What do you do when you experience something that just will not stop, a bout of hiccups, sneezing, fluttering eyleids...? What are the whackiest things you havve tried to stop them ?

I always try to sniffle a sneeze by pressing the tip of the nose with a little pressure.I have read it somewhere ling time back and it helps. And if water gets into an ear I bend down the side of that ear and kick my leg in the opposite direction like Jean Claude Van Damme to see with glee the water gushing out of the ear.(Of course inside the bathroom.)
Next time you too try this and let me know the result Alok. Will you?
I can see your toe wiggling with laughter right now

I have these muscle spasms in my shoulder and thigh sometimes and this drives me crazy also! I'll be sitting there quietly watching TV or something and then all of a sudden, my shoulder will start bopping away as if it's trying to do the Macarena! Nothing I do seems to make it stop either, so I just have to be patient until it goes away on its own. Maybe if I made the rest of my body dance along with it, my shoulder would stop seeking attention like this?

As a matter of fact I WAS an Aussie Rules Football player when I was a child. It all makes perfect sense now! The thing that's intriguing me at the moment though is you tying your toes together. I never realised your feet were into bondage, Alok! lol.

my left eyelid kept on fluttering yesterday and my mother came with some great myths that i am going earn a fortune blah blah....the fluttering eyelid was so annoying that i took some fevistick and glued it.and then at night ,i had a herculean task of removing the glue from the eyelid,i had to slowly wipe the glue with cotton covered in spirit,it was so painful...

ROFLMAO. You tied it to your fingers...lol...I do have a cold problem. In the middle of the heat, I catch nice colds...I think I;ll get an expectorant to clear out my chest. That is irritating. Plus I can't stand the AC....My eyelids do flutter occasionally but never had toe problems..lol

Hello,
This is a natural reaction that our bodies, sometime goes through, it is apart of our nervous system why we may have a wiggling toe, a jumping eye etc.You are totally fine and you will notice that these syptoms will stop by themselves all of a sudden, usally when you are not paying it ny attentions.
I have try baracading a pillow over your wiggling toe.
Happy My Lotting!

Don't tell me! That's the funniest thing I have heard recently!
Toes wriggling and you had to tie it up? OMG! You must have been in freaking mood today. I guess, you hadn't done enough of panda spanking of late and see how the panda got on you! II recommend everyone to join James' classes regularly but you guys wouldn't listen! Am just waiting for master James to suggest something good for you. lol..
My sister and one of my friends have this whacky bouts of making a weird sound in their endeavor to scratch the throat wall! Now, how on earth does that happen?! But they do it any way. The sound kills me! But they just wouldn't listen. lol..
Humor is strange. It gives us the licenc to lasugh at someone's pains and i just did that. You take care. Be fine and do not hurt yourself while tying yourself and make sure you can untie yourself..

Tying it was better than holding it with my fingers and waiting for it to stop.. You can laugh because i have that stupid look all over my face trying to figure out how to get it to stop.
I've heard those strange sounds of clearing the throat walls and it used to come very often from an ex neighbour. Many i time i would wonder whether it was my dad testing his new speaker boxes. But then in the middle of the night..
And you are so right , i've bunking the classes of late, need to catch up with it, before i decide to do something drastic with the toe..

Your discussion tells that your toes do not obey your commands.
You tie your toes to make it follow your directions and do not allow it to wriggle involuntary. For me a sudden and unexpected bout of hiccups or continous sneezing could be very embarassing and I just go for all the tricks in my sleeves to stop it.

For hiccups, I take sugar, if it is feasible and drink lots of water. Most of the times it work. For continous sneezing, I resort to anti-allergic pills, if it is excessive.

Oooo, this is too funny, your toe wriggling on its own. Are you sure you had no music playing at that time. Maybe your toe felt like dancing to the tune.So you tied the poor guy to your other toe. Poor toey. Did that other toe also not start wriggling, as you know, the effect of the company we keep and all that. lol. Well hope your toe is feeling bettr and behaving itself.

I get this itchy feeling on my feet ... in fact more on my right foot than the left one. And then I try and rub my foot wherever I can because I cannot be bending down and scratching my foot the whole day.....in fact while I am typing this my right foot is busy going rubbity rub on the table!!!!

I have a dust allergy and unfortunately, there is always a lot of dust floating around in my bedroom. I try to clean anything and poof, I get some dust on myself. The only thing that can stop it is a shower with some strong soap, but before I can get to that, I have to face a problem. I start itching and I start sneezing. I have tried things from wearing a complete cover up to covering up my nose. But nothing seems to help and I sit bak itching away to glory. So I prefer not to clean my room anymore. :D

I'm not sure if I'm allergic to dust, but I used to sneeze a lot and I think more than ten times in a row, sometimes Husband will pinch my baby finger really hard to make it stop, but doing this doesn't work all the time, ! And thankfully I don't sneeze that much lately.
