I think share the bill the best way, although all the thing seems good but it always the first time meet each other, the first impression not all right possible. If there is not a high level place, maybe I will keep silent in order to see if the man have the base gentleman, but as you say there is a nice restaurant, all the thins are very nice, I am sorry to let people pay a big number bill actually.
Whether I want to beginning with him or not, number of bill also should be clear.

Generally, the person who asked for the date is the one who pays. (However tradition has the man paying more often than not).
It is a nice gesture if the other person offers to pay the tip. The cost of the date can be considered as well...for example, if you are just meeting for coffee, going dutch (both paying) is a good idea, especially for a first date. Also consider if one of you has a large income and the other is financially-strapped. A financially-strapped person should NEVER ask someone for a date and not be able to pay for it. If finances are a problem, choose fun but low cost activities.

Hi!
I think, especially on a first date, both should pay. They probably don't know each other well enough to "owe" anything anything, which can result from something as insignificant as paying for dinner. At least that's where perceptions can go.
