To keep ourselves happy, I think you must first have a positive mindset, and think positively at all times. Another thing is also to keep one's mind relaxed and at peace. It will also be good to keep ourselves as stress free as possible, and not to get angry at people or things easily.
Another way is to also eat healthy food, and not eat too much of deep fried food, and other unhealthy food. When one is often sick, I don't think you will be happy too. The same goes for drinking (over excessively), and smoking.
Work is also one of the main factor which may cause us to be unhappy and stressed. So, I think it's also good that you choose a job which you will enjoy, and even if tere's a lot of work, you will not feel that unhappy.

Music, happy thoughts and being positive are some of the ways of keeping the mind happy and joyful. I think most people feel sad because they are stressed or jealous of someone or are over burdening themselves with their work. Once a person starts to see beyond their life, and think about things that will make them happy, they will be happy.

hihi... it is really quite hard to keep our mind happy...our mind tend to be more affected by unhappy things than happy things...
we can be unhappy and sad over something for a very long period of time, but a happy thing usually can only make us happy only for a while...
i feel that the best way to keep our mind happy is to try to think less about those unhappy things, it is impossible to forget it but just try to think less about it...and try to think about happy things instead...
