Favorite Native Foods

While I was eating lunch today I was wondering what everyone else had for a favorite native food. I was eating chicken tandoori (a indian chicken recipe flavored with various spices) today, so that kinda got me thinking about that. I also was thinking what would be some of the native foods, we don't really like that much, I personally don't really like the fish recipes, but thats me. So what are you favorite native foods, and the ones that you don't really like from your culture?

I am English and my favorite UK food is/was 'Toad in the Hole' which was made with sausages and Yorkshire pudding.
Now I am in Italy for many years and here, well pizza would be a first choice and then any rice dish from A to Z

I guess native foods here would be like hamburgers, hot dogs, and BBQ chicken. I would take the chicken over the other two. As for local foods we have the Chicago Pizza and the Italian Beef sandwiches. I always appreciate a really good pizza. Nothing wrong with a good pizza.
