Dell Computer trouble....help

I'm having trouble with my Dell Dimension 2400. About a month ago, my computer started making a loud noise every now and then while I was on it. Then just last week when I started it up, I got a black screen that said "Previous fan failure" press F1 or F2. I looked in my system logs and it said that my 'CPU0 fan "out of range". I'm not sure what that means and I've searched online for answers and just seem to find people asking the same questions, but not really any solutions. I want to replace my fan, but browsing the Dell Website, I wasn't able to find a replacement fan. I do not want to call Dell, I don't have the time right now to sit on the phone with them for two hours just to get this information. If anyone could help I would appreciate it. If not, I'll give Dell a try.
