What are your personal guidelines for giving positive ratings? Some people are very stingy in granting positive ratings to their respondents. They don't give it unless it's a really spectacular response while some people, like me, are more giving in positive ratings.
Personally, I think that giving people a positive rating helps myLot decide that that response is a quality post. I not only help myLot, but I believe that I'm helping fellow members earn better :)
Do you give positive ratings? Do you often grant it to (most/all of) your respondents? Or do you only give it to your chosen best response?

I almost give every response positive rating, only not if the response is too far from the point ,and if this I will not give negative ratings ,I think is a good thing somneone who comment the discussion ,i don't want to hurt anyone and make any bad affect of their enthusiasm.
and for the best response,of course I will choose the response I like best .

That's a good question. For that, I'm giving you a positive point. I'm a little bit picky about choosing to positive people, basically, if I think the question or answer brought something new and unique to the table, then I'll positive them. I've never negatived anyone before, at least.
