Willie Revillame for president?

I have nothing against Willie, but him as a president i do not think he is equipped to be one, if he wants to help Filipinos he could do it in his own ways. Being a President has so many aspects and not just helping Filipinos..but greater than that. so Willie should just stay as a host just like Manny to stay as a boxer. lol

Not at all cecille, I wouldn't want a president to be rediculed by Joey De Leon. Hehe. Let him display his heart for the people in his show. He's not a politician. He's an entertainer.

Hi cecillecarmela! I think legally everybody have a right to run for President, but I know that it will take more than a heart to run a nation. I don't mean to belittle the capability of Willie Revillame but the role of a President is very important and critical, beside he should possess deep knowledge in different aspect such as economy, political, etc. I think people should really think many times before they decide in entering politics. Everybody wanted to help and enlighten the life of the people, the only problem is how they will technically do it.

Well I guess his heart belongs to showbiz and should not go beyond that point. I truly believe that he can truly reach out to the poor people by just performing his duty as a host in his noontime show. But taking up a political position is not suitable for him. I think his way of helping others is enough and if in case he wants to extend his services to the public he should do it maybe at a lower position so to test if he will be able to deliver his aspiration for his countrymen. Create a track record that he can do it in smaller scale then go for the big one later. I think that is the ideal plan for it.

I do love Willie because he is really funny and find means to help poor people but I don't think he has the capability to run the country. A good heart is what we need but aside from this, we need to find a person whom we can trust the security for the entire nation. Not because you're helping poor people means you can run for presidency. Does that mean volunteers are the best suited president for us? I don't think so. In my opinion, what we need is a president with good morale, someone who can make his own decision and at the same time, compassionate about his people. A people with good values and good virtue. Unfortunately, this kind of people are very extinct no especially in the field of public service.

Leading a country requires more than a noontime show and helping the poor. It certainly requires a lot more than that. Willie Revillame cannot be President of the Philippines. There are people who are more capable to be in the position than him.

I think he has a right to run for presidency. But in my opinion, he has lots and lots to learn about politics and how to run a country before he could even consider running for president. Yes, he helps a lot of poor people, but running a country is not limited to just that. People might take advantage of him should he become president and it will just ruin him in the long run. I suggest he just stay where he is, he's more helpful that way.

No, I don't think so. It's not enough to have a heart for the poor...I guess millions of Filipinos too have their hearts for the poor. It's much more than that. For me, it's a very clear vision for the Philippines, competence, integrity, to commit to rid of government of red tape and scalawags, to be a leader who can inspire and who has the power to unite, charisma to rally people behind him. We don't need popularity ratings as measure of a good President. We want a leader with unquestionable character, one who would be willing to put country above personal gain. Someone who can help us translate our national weaknesses into strengths.....

I don't believe he's really for the poor people, he's even Rich no than any one else and even bothered to show the whole country about his mansions and cars. it think he's just making a fool around people pretending he really cares for the poor. before i used to believe him and the audience were really poor but now most of them are "Balikbayans" and even saw this scene a few times where Willie gets a souvenir from some of his audiences. if he's really for the poor, he should have taken care of the relatives of the victims of Ultra by Himself! it's just a show and this man doesn't have qualities to be President. any one can have a hear for the poor but only few qualified as President. and this guy is not one of them..

Oh good heavens!can we be more sensible in choosing our leaders?Philippine suffered too much because of our silly decision to elect mad and nonsense leaders, maybe this time we can correct our mistakes bu choosing for a more mature and right leader and not another dumb one.

I do hope no one takes this suggestion seriously. If anyone does and Willie wins the Presidency, please help me migrate to Timbuktu.

To be honest, I admire him a lot for having a kind and good heart for the poor people. But I seriously think that he still a lot to learn about politics if ever he will decide to join politicians. I have nothing against Willie. In fact, I like him :) He's a good, no- make that great- person.

He is a great host and probably has a heart for massive people but entering politics??? I dont think so. One should have not only the heart but also the mind and experience in making good decision. I have nothing against him but hopefully we can consider also some people with greater attitudes not only having a heart because all possible may have the same thing but more experienced.

why not ? all citizens of the philippines not alien could run for president if he is a registered voter of the country.Living here in the country for more than long years. have amoral character and no criminal record. can speak and write, no matter what ages as long as he is a voter i think he can run. despite of what he has finished as long as he can give his platforms to comelec themn why not. WILLIE is a very well known man here in our country. possibly he will win if he runs especially if he always help the poor men, they can contribute too much for him.

I have nothing against Willie Revillame... but being the host of a noon time show is so different from being the President oa the Philippines... he has a good heart... but i don't think that is enough to handle all current and would be problem of our country... i think he should just stick to what he does best...

He should just stick with hosting. His care for poor people is only in front of camera but not so in real.. If he's not earning 1 Million per Wowowee episode, I doubt if he'll have that care. He should have care with her wives first before anything else but they've been battered by Willie Revillame..

With all the controversial things and events that has been happening to him. i really doubt he's fit for a President, i never saw this guy run for any lower political positions so why would i believe that he will run for president now?If he ever run, i won't vote for him, it's too much, he's rich for god's sake, why would want more
