Haha, yes it does happen to me too! But why do you call it 'sleep'? Whatever the reason is, I still understood what you meant by 'sleep'. Mine really gets sore after about 3 hours straight.

Sometimes it does. A very long ride on a harley will make your butt feel like its asleep.
When I sit at my computer for long periods of time, my butt falls asleep. Its very uncomfortable. I get up and try to walk around.

Oh yes, it happens to me quite often sometimes. Went to the movie theaters today to watch a movie and my butt fell asleep halfway through and I really couldn't move to make it go away. Hate when that happens especially when I'm in classes. Or when it travels from my butt to cramp my lower back.

Yes, this will happen to everyone that does not have a super comfy chair, or sit very still. What happens is you sit on the artery lines that bring blood and nutrients etc, to that part of your body blocking off reducing the flow, and you grow numb(this numbness is sometimes called "fall asleep" it is simpler for children, and we grow to know this.) It is not dangerous, because you notice it. I find the most uncomfortable part is the "pins and needles" you sometimes experience after sitting on your foot for a while. It has happened to my bottom a few times as well. Just wiggle in your chair, or shift your weight every so often.
