Do you floss?

I've heard that flossing causes the teeth to have gaps. Is this true? Do you floss every day or not?

I don't think it causes your teeth to have gaps. I floss whenever there is food stuck in between. Specially when Im out and I dont have my toothbrush along. I floss every night for better cleaning.

No, I'm pretty sure that floss can not cause gaps in between teeth. I'm not an avid flosser, but I do it more on my front teeth, than the back. My husband pretty much flosses after every meal, and he doesn't have any more gaps than he originally had.

I have never heard about this. I started flossing at the age of 26 when my husband introduced it to me. I found that it is very good. I do it whenever I have meat or something that sticks to my teeth.

I have never heard that. Either your teeth have gaps, or they don't. They are held in your mouth by bone. Floss isn't strong enough to make them reconfigure the bone structure. Braces, yes. Floss, no. And yes, I have flossed every day (with the occasional missed one) of my life. I had crooked teeth, and got braces. They fixed them. That was 17 years ago, and flossing has not given me gapped teeth yet.
