When you get good news, who's the first one to know about it?

When you're excited or happy who's the first person you share the information with? Similarly, when you're sad or in distress who's the person you go or talk to? Why?
As for me, if it's good news it has always been my boyfriend, then follows my mother and family, then my friends. I don't know why, perhaps it's because I usually talk to them first or they're closer to me.
What about you?

i always want to share good news first with my parents ,
but ,
i dont know it happens with me only or with others also,
whenever a good news come , a bad news is always a few distance away from that ,
& in 1-2 days it always came.

My personal confident for sad and happy moments are, in order:
my girlfriend
my sister
my friends
my family.
Obviously it depends on the type of my problem, for serious things, my family has more importance!!!

The first one is the Lord to say thank you to him. And secondly come those who it concerns: family or friends or even online community.

Hello laydee. I always tell my wife first. Like what you said, my wife is the closest to me and we always talk to each other about what happened to us. So it is very normal for us to share news with each other.

It's always been my mom. I want her to hear the good news first. I want her to be proud of me of course. Especially since i have little things achieved. I want to make her happy too! I think it will uplifts her spirit at least for the mean time. Next would be my dad of course! So basically, it should be my family who would know the good news first.

When I get good news, the first one to know about it is my boyfriend and later I will have to tell my parents. I think my boyfriend is much closer to me and besides we've been together for five years now and trusted him. I will my parents later too and they are also important in my life to let them know the good news that I get.

the first persons whom i talk to when im happy and either sad are my parents and ofcourse, my boyfriend. because they are the persons whom i trust and love and ill be happy to let them know any improvements, good news and anything that might happen to me positively. for i know they will be happy for me and be happy to see me in such joy for my accomplishments and good fortune. and then i tell my friends.

Whenever I get a good or bad news, my boyfriend is the first one to know about it. Mainly because in every minute of the day, even if we are apart, we do communicate with each other so both of us are updated of our daily activities. Next to know about it is my family. I admit that in our family, we are not that open to each other and I could say that I'm closer to my distant boyfriend than to my parents.
