"Please, lady or mister, you can say to me where is this street?" "yes, of course...go straight, and after you will see this street to wright!" Sometimes we are in hurry, time is very important for all, but is so easy to help somebody, even if in few words. Do you stop in the street to give some informations if somebody ask you this informations? Or just you go on and don t answer because you don t like to talk with strangers? Is very for you to be polite and nice to help somebody who really don t know something about your city?

Why not?If I am hurriedly walking in the street,I can spare few seconds to guide a stranger. But,if I am running for a bus,no chance.I don't think a stranger will ask a question in that situation.LOL!Cheers!

People who are lost need help. Help others we help ourselves. It is very good for our spiritual grow, making us feel as a better people...and we send good signal to universe...next time someone is going to help us....in other city, country...we can stop someone on the street asking for help....and directions...

I think there's really no reason to be rude for people in the street especially if they needed my help. I need to be accommodating because these people might be seriously needing my help and it would be my pleasure to do so. I'm pretty sure they will do the same to me. I don't really believe in karma but for others, it is considered good karma.

Yes, I will always be nice and answer the question, and I will show them where to go, but sometimes I also don't know how to go there, because now I like in a city that is not my hometown, so I'm not very familiar with this city, so most of the time I need others' help, if they be nice and answer my question, I'm really appreciate that.

I dont see why not. I have been in a situation where mapquest gave me directions however there was road work that blocked the directions. So I ended up getting lossed. So I pulled over and asked a man who was just getting gas. Thankfully he gave me good directions. So if I ever could return the favor I would.

I would help if I could even if I'm in a hurry. Sometimes I may be the one in the other person's shoe and I don't want to be snob either...so I help out as most as I can. I'd even tell them sometimes to join me if I'm going in the same place or direction. It pays to be friendly sometimes :)

The answer from me is surely a yes. It doesn't cost us anything to help others by just answering their questions and show the way. For me, i'll feel good if i can help others, especially for visitors or tourist from foreign countries to my city. I'm sure if i were in their situation, if i went to a completely new city and i don't know the way, i'll surely hope there's smoeone willing to help and guide me around. So, just put yourself in others' situation, then you'll be very willing to lend them a helpful hand.

Approach is always important in such situations; as long as they do not act strange or suspiciously dangerous i would always stop and help them.

Of course i would help some one with a simple question. Either you have an exact answer or not, Either way a nice comment back to them should always be expected. Where I'm from, Philly, it was very hard to come across pleasant people who werent always in a rush. But NOW i live in Georgia and it is a whole different scenario. Talk about southern Hospitality! Its amazing how many people here would actually stop, take the few seconds to actually answer your quick question, and do it with a smile on their face!

I love helping others.I always look forward, when it comes to helping others by providing directions in the road.We should always help others in this regard. Because we may face this very same problem in another city,if we ever moved to that place.I too face this problem sometimes. So,I try to provide the right way always.

Our city is known as the "City of Smiles." where, a tourist is a friend. im really proud to say that people in my place do that. No matter who you are - people will actually tell you where to go or if he or she got the time - would even take you there. You see, its an innate culture in my place - the saying, don't talk to strangers is very rude. Seldom will it happen that strangers in our place were taken for granted. And for me it's more of the character..."is a fellow human being not worth your while" -
