Grosser than gross

I just stepped on a snail, barefoot, coming back inside. It's one of those really unpleasant feelings - not just the crunchy and slimy fell to it, but the knowledge that you just snuffed out one of god's creatures... What's the gorssest thing you've stepped on?

Cat or dog puke. I hate anything cold, slimy and discusting under my feet. I stepped in it and I felt like amputating my foot. I do not walk bearfoot in the house or even outside anymore. I hate stepping in unpleasant surprises. Blessings
