Nowadays, our teens never learn to appreciate the living we got in comparison to other third world countries. Sometimes, they just spend money exponentially without consideration. They should also learn to live in a frugal live. Saving money for their future usage. Don't you agree?

Yes I believe it is necessary to teach our teenagers the value of money and to use their allowance as efficiently as possible. The best way to do this I feel is to ask them to account for every penny spent. Our role would be to advise them where they could have avoided expenditure. Also it can become an exciting task to save money. They can be rewarded for the savings with some predetermined percentage of their allowance. If they want to spend their savings they can be asked to consult their superiors. However we have to make sure not to make it a boring exercise for them or scold them as to discourage their interest.

I quite agree with you. I think the most important reason that teens do not appreciate the living is they gain everything in life too easily. Parents love their children and give amost everything they want. To teach them be frugal, in my opinion, to teach them how to manage their money is necessary. My parents help me to learn manage money by giving me a fix amount of pin money every week when I was in middle school. After I went to high school, I get fixed money from my parents every month. I could use these money all by myself but of couse usually my parents do not bought something else for me, I bought everything for myself. So every month, I save a little money in case that I may buy somthing a little expensive and use the other money carefully because I know if I spent all money in the former days, I will have no money left the latter days. In this way, I learned how to save money and use money reasonable and I really think it is a good mothod.
