There is a deep-rooted concept in people's mind that money is the only yardstick of success. In such a materialistic society , it is natural that people are inclined to assess one's success by money . Actually there are many types of success, some assoicated with wealth and some not . So it seems to me that there should be something else beside money for maeasurement of success. I think accomplishments or contributions to the development of the country are source of the success . Do you agree with it ?

well it is not only about the money , even if you have got all the money in the world and no one to care for you then what is the use of that such huge amount of money , so i belive that if you wnat sucess then you need to be perfect in all the sphers of life. because for success you have to be complete.

No matter what will happen in my life I hope I would earn much money ha ha ha ,I think maybe this is everyone's dream . But the difference is how to use money and which apect money is used on . It is important for money's using . Someone wants only materials someone wants quality his life on spirits . Different ask different virtue . So I will earn more money for more need .

Well being successful to me is accomplishing our set goals which could be anything.Success is not only being rich or acquiring wealth. For some there are other important goals.I want to own my home, have a good solid education and my dream job.when i accomplish those things to me this is success because these are my set goals.money isnt the only yardstick fo success.

I would think that a man who makes a lot of money could be termed financially successful. I wouldn't mind being successful in that way. cheers!!

That will depend on what you are measuring in the first place. If you are measuring success in business, then money is definitely the most important factor. How can a business be successful if it keeps on losing money and never earn a single cent for the investors? Two similar business can be compared by looking at the nett profit over the same period of time. So yes, in this case, money is a measurement of success, the first and probably only factor to measure. If you are thinking of success in life, maybe at a certain point in time, you measured solely by the money factor. When people want to clear debt, they measured by the balance debt. If the balancing debt keeps on reducing, then they are more and more successful in debt management. Again, money is the only measuring factor. If you are talking about success in national level, then money is not the only factor. An efficient government who is corruption free is more important.

Many do measure your success by the size of your wallet. However, I think a person can be successful in many ways. If you are caring and giving to others (such as charity or volunteering) you will be remembered for that and to me that makes you successful.
