Like many others, the idea of working overseas has become the light at the end of the tunnel. It is a fact that we are faced with global crisis nowadays and here in the Philippines, working abroad has become the ultimate solution to bring families out of poverty.
Many sacrifice their longing for their sons and daughters just to give them a decent life, supporting them all throughout. Not to mention, most of them have graduated from college, teachers, accountants, engineers, etc. There are even some who have graduated with flying colors. I just wonder what they are feelin right now. Are they happy to let go of the prestige brought by their career titles (engineer, lawyer, etc)?
What about you? Are you willing to compromise your college degree to survive? Are you willing to humble yourself down to provide a decent life for your family?

It is always unfortunate if the degree that you have worked for in college would not help you to survive in the real world.
Personally, I am willing to sacrifice my college degree for my family. Because of the financial crisis, pride is not enough to bring food to the table. we have to look for ways to carry the financial burden and to alleviate ourselves from poverty.
