A friend in need is a friend indeed. Who is exactly a friend? A friend is one who has fun with you and agrees with you, praises you all the time? Or is a friend who criticizes you, shows you your faults and then also supports you in all your endeavours.
A enemy is your best friend. Why did this phrase come up? As he is the one who shows you your real picture. Is a friend supposed to be like this or you feel your friends should be different.

For me, a friend is someone who is there for me. Someoone who I can talk to about anything and everything. They are the sort of person I can have a giggle with and can also cry on their shoulder if I need to. A friend is also someone who I can confide in and they can also confide in me. Friends are important to us all. They are always there for you and you are also always there for them.

I think a friend is the one who can praise me when I gain the achievements in my field. A friend is the one who can ctiticize and correct me when I did something wrong. A friend can help me going through the hard times and always encourage me to do meaningful things. No matter what the results I gain, friend always stands for me. Friend is the warm-hearted one around me. We can share all the happy times and unhappy times. When faced to difficulties, a friend and I will handle them together. I think this is true friendship.

I think a friend is someone that is always there for you. A friend is someone who always tells the truth, but never tries to hurt you. A friend is someone you can talk to, and you are never lost for words with them. A friend doesnt mind you for who you are, and they dont want you to change. A friend will never fall out with you no matter what happens.
Just my oppinion.
